I provide private violin and viola lessons to students of all ages (early elementary through high school), and of all levels (especially beginner and intermediate).I will teach lessons at your home in the South Bay (including Hawthorne, Lawndale, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, and El Segundo) or Westchester, or on zoom.I focus on classical repertoire, teaching mostly pieces from the Suzuki violin and viola method books, and supplementing these with selections from other method books, from other collections of repertoire, and from etude and technique books as needed for each student. If requested, I will prepare students to take the RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) exams.A typical lesson will focus on technique, learning repertoire, musical interpretation, and sightreading.
